At the Chequers restaurant the emphasis is on high quality and freshness that is comparable to a top class London restaurant. It offers a full a la carte menu as well as light lunches or just coffee or drinks from the bar.

All dishes are superbly cooked and beautifully presented – even the bread is freshly baked on the premises!

The wine list is a lively affair, suitable to all palates. Imaginative selection of desserts including some traditional South African favourites like Milk tart, Malva pudding and Tipsy tart, we do the best Don Pedro’s and all these teasers are the perfect way to round off your meal.
